Chiropractic adjustment?
On wednesday i went to the chiropractor because i was having lower left back pain. After doing some tests and exercises, he said something about my 5th lumbar being stuck. Anyways, he adjusted it but i have been sore since then. The pain is going away but very slowly. I need to be pain free by tuesday because i have baseball tryouts. Do you guys have any tips or information on what i should do? Any way to make the pain or soreness go away by tuesday? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
The achy pain you may feel after an adjustment is often caused by sore muscles. If the segment he adjusted had been immobile for quite some time then putting motion back into it will irritate the muscles around it and can make them sore. You can do stretches such as laying flat on the floor and swing both of your legs to the opposite side you are feeling pain and holding that for about 15-20 seconds a few times per day. Good luck with your tryouts!
